The Job:
As Supervisor you lead a group of QA systems officers and assistants. You coordinate and check all global activities (Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, Finland) in the area of Quality Systems and compliance and conduct all responsibilities and rights as defined in regulations to ensure an optimal Quality Systems.
Accountabilities:
- Lead one of the two Global QA systems groups (internal oversight and external oversight) and organizes the activities and tasks.
- Hire, coach and appraise employees in both Belgium and The Netherlands and develops the cooperation between employees of the assigned division using the relevant HR instruments, services & Procedures.
- Makes sure that the annual departmental objectives are translated to the team and personal objectives and that the objectives are met.
- Makes sure that all relevant quality system elements are aligned over the sites and that all aspects of these QSEs are efficient, effective and robust.
- Serves as chair or back-up for Prothya committees or boards which are part of the quality governance.
- Lead preparation of inspections and third party audits.
- Strongly contribute to the maintenance, performance review and improvement of the quality system, which ensures that Prothya consistently applies quality processes to produce (intermediate) products which meet the patients and customers needs and regulatory requirements.
- Support the commercial department, regulatory affairs, supply chain department and procurement to set up sustainable partnerships.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or related
- 2 years of leadership experience
- 5 years of QA / GMP experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Good English writing and oral skills, preferable also knowledge of French and / or Dutch
- Lead by example in supporting a safe working environment and a culture of OPEX and change
- Willing to be present on both the site in Brussels and the site in Amsterdam
